About Us
Restorative Counseling offers compassionate and professional services for those who suffer from unresolved emotional and / or physical pain.
Gina Pazzaglia-Filkins, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) is the owner of Restorative Counseling. She has been treating persons suffering from emotional, physical and spiritual injuries for over 20 years. Recognizing the need for whole-person care and the expense of mental health services, she was inspired to open the doors of a not-for-profit agency from 1999-2008. She designed and facilitated several programs including “Healing the Bruises” and “Peace for Kids,” which offered recovery for those devastated by the effects of domestic violence. In May of 2008, she decided to downsize in order to complete her dissertation in her PhD program.
She received her Bachelors in Social Work from ORU and a Masters in Social Work from OU. Currently she is enrolled in a PhD program in the Psychology of Health and Behavioral Medicine. Gina holds the professional credentials of Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC), a Certified Domestic Violence Counselor (CDVC) and is an ordained pastoral counselor. She offers professional mental / behavioral and spiritual health services to adults, teens and children.
